The meaning of LUNGTA

A direct translation of this phrase from Nepali/Tibetan is “wind horse” and it embodies the true significance of the numerous colourful player flags draping many a religious Buddhist site. As the flags billow in the wind, it is believed that the prayers inscribed on their faces are carried by the metaphorical horses to all corners of the world, bringing fulfilment to all beings.

Vision

  • “Bringing Fulfilment” is the tagline of Lungta. When one is on a path of fulfilment, it is not selfish. It feels expansive, to work towards a purposeful path. We believe in holistic growth for all.

Lungta nurtures three influencing factors required for it's fulfilled purpose :
    - "Sarvodaya" - Progress for all.
    -  Collaborative Consumption.
    -  Values and Purpose.

  • Service for others.

"Plant trees under whose shade you do not plan to sit."

Our hills are backwards by 10-15 years as compared to urban cities. Many areas in our hills suffer from social to economic problems.
We urge to help making the voices of the unheard be heard.

"The ignorant work for their own profit...
the wise work for the welfare of the world..."
    - Bhagavad Gita, 3:25

Traffic Long Exposure

Description :

“Think of a car driving through the night. The headlights only go a hundred to two hundred feet forward, and you can make it all the way from California to New York driving through the dark, because all you have to see is the next two hundred feet. And that’s how life tends to unfold before us. If we just trust that the next two hundred feet will unfold after that, and the next two hundred feet will unfold after that, your life will keep unfolding. And it will eventually get you to the destination of whatever it is you truly want, because you want it.”
