Darjeeling Children Trust (DCT) was founded on February 2008 and has been serving the children of Darjeeling by providing the children with

education, vocational training, construction of the children's home and catering to the needs of the underprivileged children in Darjeeling. 

Tieedi is an environment conservation organisation based out Darjeeling.

It practices Permaculture that teaches the art of working with Mother Nature.
In the current time period with rapid development of civilization and a steep increase in population taking place humans have been ignorant towards nature and its wellbeing.
 

One must have thought that the old vintage machines are only to be seen

at the museum.

But, some are immensely loved and share deep sentiments of nostalgia.

It proudly stands immortal and chugs up the Darjeeling hills.

Hundred and forty years on, the thrill of the Darjeeling Himalayan

Railway is still valued and evokes the same excitement in the visitors

today.
